Meet Dr. McCartney
Dr. Cassidy McCartney was born and raised in Oregon and has been a lifelong animal lover. From a very young age, she knew she wanted to become a veterinarian, drawn to the deep bond between pets and the people who love them.
She earned a Bachelors of Science degree from University of Portland and completed her veterinary training at Oregon State University. She moved to Arizona after graduating and has been practicing medicine in the Valley ever since. Dr. McCartney brings a thoughtful, relationship-driven approach to veterinary care, believing that the best outcomes happen when pet parents feel informed, supported and actively involved in their petβs healthcare decisions.
Dr. McCartney is Fear-Free Certified and utilizes cat-friendly handling techniques, prioritizing low-stress, compassionate visits that allow pets to feel comfortable in their own environment. She is deeply passionate about delivering high-quality medicine, ensuring every appointment feels unhurried and personalized with attention to detail.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. McCartney enjoys traveling, discovering local food and drink spots, visiting farmersβ markets, staying active at the gym and spending time with her beloved dog, Bailey.
Why choose a house call vet?
House call veterinary care offers a more personalized, compassionate approach to pet healthcare - without the stress of a traditional clinic visit. By providing care in your home, weβre able to focus on your pet as an individual, in a familiar and comfortable environment where they feel the safest.
This model allows for thorough evaluations of your pet and appointments that will foster client education and collaboration. Pet parents are encouraged to take an active role in their pets' care, ask questions and truly understand the βwhyβ behind medical recommendations.
House call visits are especially beneficial for pets who experience anxiety, fear, mobility challenges or difficulty traveling. With Fear-Free principles at the core of our practice, our goal is to create calm, stress-free experiences while delivering the same high standard of medical care you would expect from a traditional hospital - without ever leaving home.
Why choose an in-home euthanasia?
Saying goodbye is one of the most difficult decisions a pet parent will ever make. Rose Veterinary is dedicated to navigating this process with tenderness, respect and grace.
In-home euthanasia allows your pet to remain in the place they feel safest - surrounded by familiar sights, scents and the people who love them most.
These appointments provide a quiet, uninterrupted and deeply personal experience. There are no car rides, no waiting times and no waiting rooms. Your pet can rest in their favorite bed, in your arms or in a sunny spot in the home.
This setting allows families to be more present and creates a space for meaningful goodbyes in a peaceful and private environment.
Dr. McCartney has completed additional training in end-of-life care and holds a Peaceful Euthanasia certification. She is committed to providing a calm, gentle and dignified experience.
